Board Meetings

Meetings are normally held on the second Monday of each month, except in August. Meetings are held in The Studio at the Flavel Centre, Dartmouth at 2pm***. The meetings are open to the public. At the beginning of every meeting there is a 15 minute open forum at which members of the public may ask a question or make a statement. People are encouraged to make their views known to Dart Harbour.
Members of the public are only excluded from those sections of the meeting where business of a commercially confidential nature, legal advice or private matters relating to individual members of staff (such as salary details and personnel matters). Sections of the meeting where the public are excluded are referred to as "in committee" and take place at the end of the open meeting.
An Annual Meeting is held in late November where members of the public can attend to hear presentations by board members on the previous years activities and the forward plans for the future year. There is also an opportunity at this function to ask questions and to network with board members and staff.
