Tony Tudor

Board Member

Tony joined the Board in January 2017.

Tony lives in Dartmouth. He has a small boat on the river and regularly crews on larger sailing boats in various parts of Europe. He holds a RYA day Skipper qualification.  He comes from a Devon family of fishermen and lifeboat men  and returned to Devon after 35 years working in London. He held positions in Lloyd’s of London, international financial services companies and regulators.

Tony is currently a director and treasurer of the Dartmouth Food Festival. In addition he is a trustee of both the Dartmouth Barnabas Trust charity for the homeless and Sea-Changers, a fundraising and grant-giving charity working to protect the marine environment.

Having run a successful Holiday letting property for many years, he has a good understanding of the local economy and in particular the recreational and commercial importance of the river.
