Quayside Berths

Dartmouth

Dartmouth: It is possible to berth at North and South Embankments.
The former dries out at all tides, the latter at Springs. The latter is also very congested in the season and requests to berth should be made to the River Officer or the Harbour Office. call ‘DartNav’ on VHF Channel 11. If there is no reply to VHF, then telephone the Harbour Office on 01803 832337. River staff are available in the summer months from 0730 to 2300hrs.

Quay dues are chargeable at 1.00 per metre per day.


Pontoon berths are available at the southern (from Whitsun until early September) and northern (all year) ends of the Embankment and offer easy access to the town and facilities such as restaurants, shops and the Dartmouth Yacht Club

In addition limited berthing is permitted on a large floating service jetty situated at the town centre. Berthing on these facilities is under the direction of the River Officer, please see above.


Greenway

Private quay, dries out. Details from the ferryman at Greenway. Ferry to Dittisham operated by Greenway Quay and Ferry Service tel: 01803 844010.


Stoke Gabriel

Dries out. Berthing on quay wall - apply to Quay Hole Cafe. Tel: 01803 782520


Bow Creek

Alongside quay by the Maltster's Arms Pub, contact Landlord for permission. Fin keeled craft are advised to return to Dittisham rather than dry out against the quay.


Totnes

There are limited berthing facilities at Totnes and mariners should be aware that all berths dry out at low water. Visiting yachtsmen may tie up at the small wooden quay on the starboard side of the river between the Totnes Rowing Club and Steamer Quay. This facility is owned by the South Hams District Council and dues for berthing here are payable to Dart Harbour who collect fees on their behalf.


Also berthing facilities are available at Baltic Wharf Boatyard, Totnes on application to the Boatyard.

Berthing at Steamer Quay and Town Quay, Totnes (privately owned) is not permitted but passengers may land and embark at the public steps there.
