Trot Moorings
Trot Moorings are arranged in a line and the boats are tethered fore and aft. Because the boats do not move around it enables many more boats to be moored in the same area. As the moorings are tied together, even when the trot is unoccupied, such arrangements restrict the use of the river for sailing. Trots can be single or double – double being two boats side by side with fendering on each berth.
Please note: Dart Harbour mooring buoys are blue.
