BRNC – Maritime Assessed Leadership Exercises

Monday 21 November – Thursday 24 November

Monday 28 November – Thursday 01 December

Britannia Royal Naval College will be conducting Maritime Assessed Leadership Exercises within various locations of the harbour.

The exercises will involve a large number of Royal Navy Cadets and the use of up to fifteen RN small craft.  Safety boats will also be in attendance and some vessels may exceed 6 knots for short periods, to assist with training.

Firing of blank ammunition in various controlled areas of the harbour will take place, including the possible involvement of helicopters flying and hovering at low level for training purposes.

BRNC training staff will be in attendance at all times and will be operating on VHF channel 73.

All harbour users are advised to give participating vessels a wide berth and navigate with extra caution during these exercises.
