Dart Harbour is seeking an exceptional individual with outstanding personal qualities to take on the demanding role of Assistant/Deputy Harbour Master. This post requires a wide range of skills and the successful candidate will already have had considerable experience in the marine industry and Health & Safety management.

You must have current knowledge of port management including security and environmental regulations. You will also have a relevant marine qualification and excellent boat handling skills. Pilotage experience and knowledge of marine engineering would be highly desirable. You will already have proved yourself as an able team leader, and be willing to play an active role both on the water and ashore, in the day to day management of the river. You will be a good communicator and enjoy delivering excellent customer service to the public.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied and challenging post working on one of the most beautiful rivers in the South West. The final job title is dependant on experience and qualifications and there is an attractive benefits package for the right candidate

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum - dependent on expertise.
