18ft Cuddy Launch – Jessica Rose
£1,000
The vessel is of an unknown builder, the vessel is approx 18’ long and similar to the Plymouth Pilot 18 and the Nelson 18. The vessel is suspected to be of 1970’s or early 1980’s build.
The vessel has a Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) hull and cuddy with deck ring. The cockpit sole and structures and the cuddy bulkhead and internals are all of timber and plywood construction. The vessel was found in rundown condition internally – the plywood and timber elements were found in a degraded and rotted condition in many areas. The vessels internals will clearly require a significant refit.
Externally, the vessel was found in fair cosmetic condition though limited visible only was provided. The vessel was found fitted with a three cylinder Perkins Perama inboard diesel engine. It is not known if the engine is in running condition.
This vessel is being sold by Dart Harbour and Navigation Authority, due to non-payment of harbour dues. She does not come with a mooring and will need to be removed from the Dart following purchase. All enquiries to [email protected]
