Orkney Coastliner 14 – “Sandpiper”
£1,700
The vessel is an Orkney Coastliner 14, hull number 374.
The vessel was noted to be an early 1990’s example. The vessel has the optional dark blue hull, remote steering console and FRP cuddy. The vessel was found in largely original condition – without heavy modifications to the vessels internals and structures evident.
The hull topsides, deck ring and cuddy externals were found in original gelcoat. The cockpit sole was tip toe tested and hammer tap tested and was confirmed to be sound with no flexibility or evidence of structural failure at this time.
The vessel was found fitted with a 20hp Johnson 2-Stroke Outboard engine – the engine decal design is consummate with the age of the vessel. The engine manual tilt operated. The lower unit was clean. The engine was confirmed to be free (i.e. it could be turned over).
The running condition of the engine is unknown as no fuel and provision was starting the engine was present.
This vessel is being sold by Dart Harbour and Navigation Authority, due to non-payment of harbour dues. She does not come with a mooring and will need to be removed from the Dart following purchase. All enquiries to [email protected]
