Westerly 22 – “Kayleigh 1”
£200
The vessel is a standard Westerly 22 built between 1963 and 1967. No hull number was seen.
The vessel was found in rundown and damp condition internally. The linings were found in poor condition overall, untidy paintwork was evident throughout. The interior was very poorly presented. Externally, the vessel was found in very poor cosmetic condition, the decks were painted and cosmetically poor. Significant areas of flexibility were evident in the cockpit deck structures. The vessel is clearly in need of significant repairs, a re-rig and full refit.
The vessels sails were found aboard, these were worn and stained, though still rigged. The engine is a Johnson 25HP 2-stroke longshaft outboard motor. The motor could be turned over by hand – though its running condition is unknown.
The vessels electronics consist of a Cobra fixed VHF radio.
This vessel is being sold by Dart Harbour and Navigation Authority, due to non-payment of harbour dues. She does not come with a mooring and will need to be removed from the Dart following purchase. All enquiries to [email protected]
