Waste Pontoon Refurbishment
As part of Dart Harbour’s winter maintenance programme, the Waste Pontoon, situated between MS9 – 10, directly upstream of the fuel barge will be removed for an overhaul. It is expected that the pontoon will be off station from 11th January 2021 until late February.
While the pontoon is off station waste facilities will still be available at the following locations.
- Kingswear Dinghy Rack – General waste, glass, cans, plastics
- Town Jetty, southern end of pontoon – General waste, plastics
Additional facilities will be provided in the following locations.
- KP Pontoon – General waste skip
- Deepwater Pontoons – General waste skip
- Town Jetty – Glass, Cans
For water please use the outside berth at the southern end of the Town Jetty.
Please remember that, oil and paint waste are not to be disposed of in our skips, small quantities of oil, oily waste and paint waste can be disposed of by arrangement, please contact the Harbour Office 01803 832337 or call our patrols on VHF ch11.
