Staff
Dart Harbour is a Trust Port run by a board of trustees who reinvest all profits for the benefit of all port users and wider regional and local interests.
It has a Board of members with day-to-day operation delegated to the Harbour Master to manage the Harbour. The Harbour Master, Rob Giles, has 50 staff in both full time, part time and voluntary positions to help him.
Deputy Harbour Master
The Deputy Harbour Master is Nick Clarance. He supports the Harbour Master in his day to day role and closely manages the rest of the harbour team. He offers a wide range of marine experience and has a professional background in all harbour operations.
River & Mooring Staff
Dart Harbour has a team of 8 permanent river based staff. Their role is to maintain the moorings, carry out maintenance work, allocate moorings and carry out river patrols. In the summer months Dart Harbour has River Officers on duty from 0730 - 2100hrs.
Office Staff
The office is manned by a team consisting of Senior Administrator, Finance Manager, and two Administration & Finance Assistants.
