Browsing

Use the main menu on the left hand side of each page to see the subject areas covered by the website. Click on each of the main subject areas to uncover more detailed webpages.

As you browse for items of interest you will see what's called a "breadcrumb trail" at the top of the page. At the top of this page the breadcrumb trail says "You are here: Dart Harbour » Help. use this to help you keep track of where you are on this website at all times.


Using the keyboard

You can move around the website using the mouse or the touch pad of a laptop. If you prefer not to use these then alternately you can navigate the website by using the enter and tab keys on your keyboard.

The tab key will take you to each link on the page in turn. You will see each of the links appear in the bottom frame and change as you tab. When you reach the link you want press the enter key on your keyboard.

If you want to start again keep pressing the tab key. If you want to go back one then press the shift key and tab.


Increasing the font size

You can adjust the text size using this site. The controls for this are found in the top left corner of the site see pic. Alternatively, you can use your browser to control the text size see instructions below.


On your PC
Internet Explorer 5 and 6: Select View>Text Size and choose from Smallest to Largest
Internet Explorer 4: Select View>Fonts and choose from Smallest to Largest
Netscape 6: Select View>Text Size and choose Smaller or Larger or a percentage
Netscape 4.7: Select View>Increase Font
Netscape 4.6 or 4.5: Select Edit>Preferences>Fonts and change the font size

On your Apple Mac
Internet Explorer 5 and 6: Select Edit>Preferences>Web Browser>Language/Fonts
and choose the size you want
Internet Explorer 4.5: Select Edit>Preferences>Browser Display and choose from Smallest to Largest
Netscape 4.75: Select Edit>Preferences>Appearances>Fonts and change the font size
