If you would like to book one of these facilities, please contact the harbour office to make the necessary arrangements. This includes having a safety briefing from a member of the River Team. Once this has been arranged, a booking for the grids can be made.
Please be aware the Hoodown grid is unsuitable for fin keels and those vessels with short keels (from front to back). Owners if these vessels will be directed to use the Dartmouth Grid, which has a large concrete contact pad for fin keeled vessels.
Ideally, those using the grids will dry out during Dart Harbour working hours. Outside working hours may incur an additional charge to cover staff costs.
As this is a bookable facility, anyone found berthing and drying out in these areas without booking, will be directed off.
