Coronavirus Update @04 November
Dart Harbour do not own or operate any showers in Dartmouth and we liaise with other organisations who normally have showers available for visiting boats. The public showers at Mayor’s Avenue are closed from 4th November for the use of NHS workers only until the lockdown is raised. We will update this page when anything changes. Dartmouth Yacht Club showers are not available for use because of difficulties associated with social distancing.
Showers are available in the following locations
Dartmouth Yacht Club – currently closed
Located on the South Embankment. The showers are open from 0700 to 2200 between April and September. (reduced service during the winter please check with the Harbour Office).
The showers are operated using a token system, shower tokens cost £1 and are available from the Harbour Office, River Officers or from Dartmouth Yacht Club where you will also be given the access code.
Dartmouth Town Council – currently closed
A shower is available at the Mayors Avenue public conveniences. The entrance to the showers is at the rear of the building. The showers are open Monday to Saturday between 0800 and 1800 hrs and on Sundays between 1000 and 1800 hrs. Payment of £1.00 on entry.
Royal Dart Yacht Club – currently closed
The Royal Dart Yacht Club on the Kingswear side of the river has showers that can be used by visiting yachts people making use of the clubhouse for events, drinks or dining.
