HMS Medusa visiting

We are delighted to be welcoming HMS Medusa in May as part of the Coastal Forces Heritage Weekend.

HMS Medusa is a Harbour Defence Motor Launch (HDML) and is included in the 200 vessels of the National Historic Fleet, reflecting her strong maritime heritage.

Built in Poole in 1943 entirely of wood by RA Newman, Medusa is now the last of 464 vessels of her class in original and seagoing condition.

Her arrival will coincide with VE Day on 8 May.

She will be moored at Town Jetty and will be available for guided public tours during her stay in Dartmouth.
