2021 Coronavirus Updates
Dart Harbour issued a LNTM 10/2021 in response to the new lockdown and this is still in force. However, some more specific information will be published as it arrives under the date we are notified. This information provides more detail. All Dart Harbour customers should abide by the Government guidance and the law. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure that their actions are in accordance with the law.
To ensure Dart Harbour complies with the law, visitor facilities are closed and the use of the Yacht Taxi is restricted for use by people who live on boats in the harbour and for safety critical trips.
British Ports Association
We have received the following information from the Department for Transport via the British Ports Association.
“We have received clarification on guidance relating to boating and leisure activities from CO/DCMS.
Therefore, we can confirm that boating is allowed as exercise [in England]. This covers all sailing boats/yachts as long as they abide by the gathering limits, social distance rules and stay local rules.”
