Entangled Seal

We are aware of this adult female seal, she is well known to both The Seal Project and BDMLR South West England and has been monitored for some considerable time, by us as well as the Seal Project & BDMLR.

Whilst she is feeding and actively moving around intervention is currently not an option. Disentangling an adult seal is extremely difficult and dangerous to both the seal and the rescuers.

Please do not approach wild seals, and keep your distance from this seal if she is seen resting in the area.
