Port & Marine Facilities Safety Code

Safety paperwork is rarely the most newsworthy of topics, but we are particularly proud to have reported compliance with the new Port & Marine Facilities Safety Code  (PMSC) on 19th January 2026, being one of the first ports in the country to do so.

This code is our bible – it details everything we need to do to run the harbour safely, so you can be confident that the Dart is a safe place to work and play.  For the first time marinas and other marine facilities also need to meet these standards, and we have been working with all of our partners on the river to help them with this new code.
