LNTM 19/2019 – Waste Discharge off South Embankment

South West Water, working with the Environment Agency and South Hams District Council, have investigated the intermittent leak from the sewerage system on the South Embankment of Dartmouth.

Temporary works and dye tests completed yesterday confirm the leak has stopped.

Sampling has confirmed that there was no significant increased risk caused by the leak from the sewerage system.

Further investigation and repair works will recommence once the Regatta is over.

Water borne Regatta events will continue as scheduled.
