LNTM 07-20 Dart Harbour Covid-19 Compliance

Valid until further notice.

Dart Harbour has taken the decision to reduce our service, from the usual level, as advertised in our Harbour Guide. This is to reduce risk of transmission of Covid-19 to protect harbour staff, river users and the wider community.   A reduced number of staff will deliver the following service:

River Patrol – 1000-1600 daily.

Office – 1000-1600 daily, no visitors to the office, please use telephone 01803 832337 or email [email protected] to contact office staff.

Taxi – Regular service suspended – essential, safety critical trips by appointment with duty HM.

VHF CH 11 – Dart Nav will only be monitored 1000-1600, if you have an urgent, safety critical need to contact Dart Harbour, outside these times, call the Duty HM on 07968 839846.

Scrubbing Grids – Dartmouth and Hoodown grids are closed until further notice.

Use of Recreational Craft

The use of recreational craft is not considered an essential activity.  Skippers of recreational vessels arriving into Dartmouth out of necessity should make contact with their intended berth provider and Dart Harbour prior to entry into the harbour.  This will include the need to ensure that a berth will be provided and the terms on which the berth can be accessed and occupied.   This may require the need to submit health declarations, self-isolate on the vessel and necessary distancing measures after arrival.
