LNTM 06-2022 – Ships to sound their horns for Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – June 4th

The UK Chamber of Shipping is inviting ship owners and recreational boaters to take part in a Ships Salute as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at noon on Saturday.

To help mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we are encouraging vessels to sound their horns at noon on Saturday, June 4th as part of a national maritime industry tribute, vessels of all sizes are asked to sound one long blast (between 6 and 30 seconds).

Please do not be alarmed if you hear them.
