LNTM 08-2022 Wild Dart Swim

All mariners are advised that an ‘Aquathalon’ is taking place on the evening of Sunday 26th June, in the area between Totnes to Ashprington Point.

The schedule of races is as follows:

• 17:30 – 5K Swim, starting at Riverside Café, Totnes – Sharpham North Quay
• 17:45 – 2.5K Swim, starting at Riverside Café, Totnes – Ashprington Point

It is anticipated the event will be completed by 19:45.

Swimmers will set off in groups of 6.  All competitors will be wearing high visibility swim hats. Kayaks and a safety boat will be in attendance.

The safety boat will be listening on VHF 11, call sign ‘Wild Dart Swim’

All harbour users are requested to keep a good lookout in this area. Please give competitors a wide berth, keep wash to a minimum and navigate with extra caution.
