LNTM 08-24 Head of the Dart Paddle Board – Saturday 20th April 2024

All mariners are advised:

The annual Head of the Dart – Stand up paddle board event is taking place on the 20th April 2024

The course starts in Totnes at approx 16:00, heading downstream to Dartmouth. The finish line, will be just off DA Pontoon, near the Slipway in Dartmouth. Paddlers will be exiting at the Higher Ferry Slipway in Dartmouth.

It is also likely, that the finish area will be extremely busy with paddle craft.

From 16:00 to 19:00 the river will have near 300 paddlers making their way down from Totnes. There is a mixture of abilities and as such, vessel wash should be kept to a minimum.

All mariners are to take advice from the water safety team and direction from the River Officers.
