LNTM 13-26 – Totnes and Bridgetown Royal Regatta – Saturday 9th May 2026

All Mariners are advised:

The Totnes and Bridgetown Regatta will be held on Saturday 9th May. The regatta will make the upper reaches from Sharpham to Totnes particularly busy with rowing craft.

Racing will start near “The Hole in the Wall”, with competitors racing upstream to the finish line located just off the Dart Totnes Amateur Rowing Clubhouse.

Racing is scheduled to commence at approximately 09:00 and will continue throughout the day until around 17:00, after which all craft are expected to clear the water.

Mariners navigating in the upper reaches during this time are requested to exercise extreme caution. Please follow any instructions or advice given by the Safety Boats, and comply with all directions issued by Patrol Officers to ensure the safety of competitors and other river users. Patrol Officers will be contactable as “DartNav” on VHF Ch11
