LNTM 14-26 – Seabed works – Commencing 18th May 2026

All mariners are advised:

TMS Maritime will be conducting seabed survey works in the Kingswear area, parallel to the railway line, between the Higher Ferry slipway and Water Head Creek. See the red highlighted working area shown in Figure 1 – Survey Area below.

These works will be undertaken on a floating barge, powered by Tug “Crawf”. The works are expected to start on the 18th May 2026, and last around two weeks. During this period, the tug and barge may be restricted in their ability to manoeuvre. Vessels navigating in this area, should do so with care, and minimise any wash. Tug “Crawf” will be monitoring VHF Ch11 during working times.
