Procedure: Please click here to see the procedure for using the person hoist located on this pontoon. If you are looking to use the hoist, but have not been trained to do so, please contact the office on 01803 832337 to arrange training, or a trained member of staff to assist.
This pontoon is primarily designed to provide easy access for smaller vessels, including passenger boats, facilitating smooth embarkation and disembarkation. The hoist on the pontoon can be used in conjunction with the ramped access, or simply for the lower freeboard of the pontoon.
Additionally, the pontoon is well-suited for unloading fishing produce or other heavy items. However, users should note that vessels should not be left unattended on this pontoon while using it for these purposes.
