Stoke Gabriel

There are two shallow swinging visitors moorings at Stoke Gabriel.  Buoys are white with a black V and the max LOA of vessel is 9m.  Rafting of 2 vessels per buoy is allowed.  There are also short-stay dinghy facilities in Stoke Gabriel. On arrival, please contact Dart Harbour on VHF Channel 11 (call sign DARTNAV)

N.B. Visitors should berth in accordance with River Patrol instructions and observe locally signed berthing instructions out of hours. Please refer to the latest edition of Admiralty Chart 2253 to ensure safe berthing of your vessel, you remain responsible at all times.

2: Low Water Landing Pontoon – Mill point

Mooring conditions: Only accessible from Height of Tide of 2.3m or less at Stoke Gabriel

Fees (per metre per day):

Harbour dues are payable on all vessels over 4m. Visitors: 0.85 per metre per day. Annual: see our charges page.

Additional Information:

Height of tide (HoT) at SG is between 0.3 and 0.9 lower than HoT at Dartmouth.
Access to SG possible by foreshore at low water only. Note the Uneven and slippery route.
Not suitable for yachts or heavy boats

1: Short Stay Visitors pontoon

Vessels LOA: 4.3

Mooring conditions: Berthing up to 6 hrs

Walk ashore: Yes
24 Hour access: Yes, but limited stay permitted

Pontoon dries at low water.
